I left my job last Friday because it was just not paying enough. I was doing 50 hours a week and ended up with a hourly salary that was way under minimum wage  (provision based). It was nice it to be working again, but we’re here to save money so we can travel Australia and not just pay the rent. Last weeks earnings was even $5 less than our weekly rent, so it was no point anymore. It was always suppose to be temporary while I was looking for something else, but I never had as much time to look for something else. So it was time to leave to find something else that is paying better.

We both excepted it to be a lot easier to find a job than it is. Our new flatmate have been looking for a week and have already given up and want to move somewhere else. We would most likely have left by now as well if we wouldn’t be looked into a 6 months rental contract. The whole situation is starting to feel really frustrating.
