Mooloolaba: The Sunshine Coasts own Surfers Paradise

We were the first people to check out of the hostel on Sunday morning at 8:00, but we had another place to discover before the weekend ended, Mooloolaba. It took us about 30 minutes to drive to there from Noosa and it’s a pretty straightforward (and boring) drive.

Mooloolaba is a little bit like a smaller Gold Coast. There’s plenty of things to do, like cafes, restaurants, bars or sunbathing on the beach.  It’s one of those places that isn’t anything spectacular by itself, but it has a little of everything. I’m happy to have seen it, but there’s a lot of better places to visit in Australia if you are in a hurry and the Gold Coast is much better choice.

I’m starting to get spoiled with spectacular scenery. I used to be impressed by any white beach since they don’t exist near London, but Mooloolaba failed to impress me. It’s still a nice beach though and is located just a few minutes away from shops and restaurants.
